I have heard about Q fever just now.

It is really a severe illness...

Is Q fever still common today?

Do cheesemakers need to be injected Q fever bacterin?

Hello,
Q fever is caused by Coxiella burnetti, which is used as the indicator organism for checking the efficiency of the pasteurization of milk. Prior to this, it was the tubercle bacilli which was considered as the most heat resistant pathogenic organism. Generally Q fever affects he respiratory tract...
