We have written on our blog  about  foam cleaning of surfaces, like walls and large equipment. This post wants to attract your attention to the cleaning of cheese moulds, cheese racks and other tools. We have seen many cheese makers using the traditional cleaning liquid and brush. Not only is it a tough job, it is also takes a lot of time. There is another way and slowly but steadily, more and more UK cheese makers are adapting the system we have seen on our Germany trips. The only items you need is a large tank with a heating element. In it is water and an amount of phosphoric acid. Dunking your items in this hot liquid (60-70C) for about 20 minutes is all you need to do. We supply tanks in a variety of sizes and heating elements for heating electrically, hot water or steam. Time is money!
