| Need some help with spreadsheets from the site pl? If I cant see a worksbook (lost it) in Excel 2010 how can I see it? I want to convert kilos to pounds and oz how do I do this in spredsheet without this option. Thanks JFS |

Thank you for supporting the site.
To see the worksheets in a workbook go to "View" on the ribbon, then go to "Arrange all" and finally go to "Arrange horizontal". You should see all the worksheets now.
Re; pounds and ounces. I can suggest 2 options.
a) using the convert function. The syntax is:
= CONVERT(number,"from_unit","to_unit"). Note the requirement for "" around the units.
Alternatively use the DOLLARFR function. This can be easily configured to give pounds and ounces (in sixteenths) but it is confusing for many people.
The syntax here is =DOLLARFR(number*2.2046,16). A result of 2.02 means 2 pounds and 2 ounces! I have prepared a simple, free spreadsheet to show how this can be done. Click on the image below to download the spreadsheet.

I have been looking for a spreadsheet to change kilograms to pounds and ounces and found yours at http://www.dairyscience.info/map/converter.xls - http://www.dairyscience.info/map/converter.xls . Exactly what I needed have you any objections in me using this in our school?

| The spreadsheet is free for educational use. The functions used are all in the public domain. All I have done is show how they might be used. You are free to modify, adapt as you wish. BUT I am not responsible for any problems , issues etc that you might encounter using the application! |
